My new EP is inspired by a line from the Iain M. Banks book "Use of
Weapons". For me, science fiction and dub are natural allies, as both
seem to come from the future whilst looking back at the past. Good
music, and good fiction, cause us to see many sides, many angles, and to understand that the truth of a matter is often far more complex than the surface view we casually observe. The big things in life - love, understanding, co-operation, empathy - they all take time and effort. Nothing is as easy as it seems, yet many things are worth doing.
